Jere Coughlin saw immediate success when he printed the first edition of the Watertown Herald in 1886. Jere established a solid reputation as an expert printer. His competition admired his “painstaking care,” “grace of expression” and use of “unusually good paper.” Jere Coughlin’s attention to detail and high standards for quality set new standards for the upstate New York printing industry. Today, more than 130 years later, Coughlin continues to strive to achieve new levels of quality and innovation. Our heritage and experience allows us to understand the ever-changing business world and culture of the North Country.
Much has changed over the years, and we work hard to adapt and grow. Recently we have married many of our print products with their digital counterparts—brochures and ebrochures, printed books and ebooks, direct mail and email; the list goes on.
