Introducing the Canon imagePRESS V1000: Coughlin Printing’s Newest Powerhouse

Coughlin Printing is excited to announce our latest addition, the Canon imagePRESS V1000. This advanced digital full-color press upgrades our printing capabilities by delivering increased speed, efficiency, and superior quality to all our print products.

Coughlin is proud to be one of the first in the region to put the Canon imagePRESS V1000 into production.  Its remarkable features make it a game-changer in the local printing industry.

What can it do?

The Canon imagePRESS V1000 is a 4-color (CMYK) digital press that can produce up to 101 pages per minute, print on very heavy paper (up to 400gsm) and even on sheets as long as 50 inches.

Equipped with a range of convenient inline features, including hole punching, folding, and stapling, the printer allows our staff to optimize every aspect of every project. It even has inserter trays, so we can include multiple paper stocks or pages printed elsewhere into the appropriate place for each booklet.

The printer’s state-of-the-art software maximizes the number of prints on a single sheet of paper. The paper we feed into the printer at the beginning is often larger than the finished product, especially for projects such as business cards and postcards. The Canon imagePRESS V1000 automatically calculates how best to fit the number of required prints on the chosen paper stock. This is particularly advantageous for small-run (under 10,000 pieces) full-color projects, which are common among our North Country business partners and clients.
